Dimitris Mastrokalos, born in Crete , studied graphic art in Athens and then fashion design at the Veloudakis School of Fashion. During his studies, he worked next to well-known Greek fashion designers. Giannis Raptis, born in Corfu, was educated in an American college and specialized in marketing.

They are the designing partners for the label Mi-Ro. Located in the center of Athens, they create clothes and wedding dresses, prêt a porter de luxe and haute couture, putting particular emphasis on raw materials and carefully giving a special finish to clothes. Their collections are marked with their dynamic style and their absolute feminine cut. Futhermore, their creative activity includes the design of menswear, with particular emphasis on the quality of materials and making process.

Samples of their work have been presented in Greece and abroad. Mi-Ro have already done two catwalks in Rome, AltaRomaAltaModa, which they are still members of, one in Serbia, Belgrade 16th fashion week as guest designers of MTV Europe and a participation at the TRANOI Exhibition Paris. They have also participated in exhibitions of fashion in Italy (Rome European Designers), Greece (CHRATSS fashion out of paper, Beyond Dress Codes) and have been selected to represent Greece in competitions worldwide (MAC Cosmetics HELLO KITTY PROJECT) .

They have also worked on costumes for films (To Fili Tis Zois, Village Productions) and theater (The Life, the Style and the Seven Dwarfs) and have maintained business uniforms for hotels and companies specialized in corporate promotional products and services. Moreover, they have signed a series of clothing lines for large Greek apparel companies.

Their presence in charitable events in Greece has been intense so far, with their participation in Madwalk by Vodafone, whose revenue has been released for the purpose of the Friends of Children with Cancer "Hope", in charity gala Taste The Fashion, whose revenue has been released for the purposes of the "Smile of Child" and their cooperation with Action Aid Hellas in a fashion show.
